My enermax power pack sparked out of the fan in the back and now my computer wont turn on. Not sure if it's the power pack or the board is fried... Any help would be appreciated thanks =)

If it sparked then something inside the power supply malfunctioned and that is the reason it wont work. You will need to replace it. Unlikely that it fried your board in the process. You can test this by swapping the power supply with one that you know works.

My acer zc-606 all in one pc wont power on at all, already did power drain, etc. Was told to check the power supply fuse, how? Acer aspire zc-606 non-touch aio desktop

first is fans, both fans must spin and blow air.
Real desktops have 2 fans, but this is not real
real = ATX Spec PC.

that is not a desktop, (ATX ) real, it is
an All_in_ON, , that is really a laptop with big battery missing
and new legs, so testing gets harder. on those.
It does have fan, does that fan blow.
??? step one,
the power pack can go bad. we use a voltmeter to make sure the DC side is at spec. (printed on side of it that voltage)
using the wrong power pack? Ac POWER PACK.

look in side, what do you see,
not much. Mobo, ram, hdd, cpu , fan.
all you can do is check Power pack for correct one and correct voltage. (power is first, it will never run of power is bad)
reseat ram, look at fan, again , look first for dead fan.

The big fan on the side isnt working

Does it have power to it? Check the power connector and try a different socket or plug.

Does the fan spin freely? If not its jammed. You can try to unstick it but it will probably never work properly (but hey! it doesn't work at all now, right?)

My computer will not power up at all been looking for another compatible power supply since this one is discontinued need help immediately.. enermax eg425p-ve

I'd check into a DiabloTek PHD650 650-Watt Power Supply. It's a higher voltage module, but has similar features to your Enermax power supply. If you can't find it locally, check out TigerDirect.com (my fave) or NewEgg.com. These two sites are likely to have these, and are competitively priced.

I need to replace a fan in my Client Pro 414, part number BP801512HL DC Brushless Fan Motor from Bi-sonic.

Any 12V 80mm x 80mm x 15mm computer fan with the appropriate connector will probably do. Power rating should be around 0.4A (yours should be 0.35).

Acoustifan's 80mm are the quietest fans, but I'd suggest Enermax Marathon (almost noiseless, great air flow). If they don't come in 15mm thickness, then SilenX Fan IXtrema Pro.

Hi, I have a problem with my Enermax Blue Viper CS-718-B, bought in 2006. When pressing the start button, the light and fan are working very short, or I get a peep, but the computer is not booting. Only if...

Your computer either has a fault with the power button in which you can request off the manufacturer a replacement (may cost money depends on warranty) or you do not have enough power for the computer components. Try removing all the peripherals except from screen, keyboard and mouse and then try booting. If it works then you dont have a large enough power supply for all the equipment you have. If it still does not work then it could still be a power supply (PSU) fault in which you can take the psu to your local computer store and they can test it for you.

hope this helps

Power supply , small plug hook up?

That plug is for the fan RPM monitor, it is not needed for normal operation.

Psu shut down

99% TIME IT IS A FAULTY FAN GOING OUT.

REPLACING THE FAN INSIDE THE POWER SUPPLY WILL RESOLVE THE PROBLEM.

P/S ARE CHEAP, JUST BUY A NEW ONE OOR REPLACE WITH ONE YOU HAVE ON HAND
