Question about Balance CN6555 Notebook
I've tried several combination keys to release this (as mentioned on other sites) but none seem to work on this one. An external keyboard works fine. If I hold down the Fn key, the keys on the right side of the keyboard function properly. Any other ideas? Thanks.
Had the same prob on my laptop which doesn't have a seperate number pad so all I needed to do was to press "Num lock".

The solution is simple - you need to Simultenously press the Fn and the Insert key
that should sort your problem out

The Fn key (also known as the Function key) is a feature found on most laptop computers. The Fn key allows keys on a laptop computer's keyboard to serve more than one function, a clever way of increasing the utility of the keyboard when space is limited. Dell laptops make good use of the Fn key, and if you own a Dell laptop, you should be aware of where the key is and how to use it. So i hope this will help you.
