Turn the water supply off. Remove the COLD water hose from the rear of the washer. Clean the silt out of the COLD water valve on the washer. Re-attach the hose on turn on the water supply.
You probably have a cold inlet valve with restricted flow, either because the filter on the inlet valve is clogged or because the cold valve is failing......If you wash on "warm" you have both hot and cold water mixed. On rinse there is probably only cold water used....Check water flow for HOT and COLD settings and you'll probably see the difference...Good luck...Nomess
you nead to turn off both cold and hot water.next you nead to remove cold water hose from washer.remove screen and clean it and replace it.hookup cold water hose to washer and turn water back on.you should have better pressure.your rince cycle is cold water.
Flows out where , drain or into machine ? If into machine , Most washers have a cold rinse into machine . If your using hot fill and you get a trickle , then problem is a clogged screen at the valve or a bad water valve .
If so, this is what I suspect. The filters in the inlet hoses on the back of the washer need cleaning. Remove the garden hose connectors, remove filter, clean, replace.
When filling with hot only you get a lot of pressure thru one hose. When you rinse, the best you can do pressure-wise is cold rinse -- but the cold water filter is going to be more clogged than the hot so it delivers less water.
When you use warm rinse, you get mediium pressure thru both lines, again less water than al hot on filling the machine.
It sounds like you have some buildup in the cold water valve screen. Where the hose connects to the washer there should be a screen inside the valve. Remove the cold water hose from the washer and clear any debri on the valve screen.
If this doesn't fix the slow cold water flow then you will have to replace the whole water valve assembly. The water valve is the piece that the hoses connect too and supply water to the washer.
If you have anymore questions about this please ask. I will be more than happy to help you out.
HI thanks for your question. the cold water valve either has a clogged screen or a faulty water valve. remove the cold water hose and clean out the screen, try again. could be all you have to do. if its acting the same. replace the water valve. thanks the appliance doc. please rate my answer. thanks.
Yes remove the hose from where it connects to washer look inside water valve and remove plastic screen with needle nose pliers Without damaging it. Also make sure that it gets back in proper as the valve will be damaged without it.
