Re: MOTOROLA W385 wont do anything but flash
Seriously I would call up Boost mobile again tell them what happened and demand that they help you. Seeing as the tech that you talked to obviously has no idea what she was doing. If they still dont help you... don't fret your phone might still be salvageable. It will probably need to be reflashed though. Now you can again try to take it to Boost Moblile and see if they will do it for you.. Or you can do it yourself if you have a USB cable to hook it up to your computer. If you dont have the cable get one of EBAY they are cheaper there. You can go on Howardsforum.com and look up your phone model and you should find instructions.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US. click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Goodluck!

I have the same phone. It does this to me all the time. I suspect that it is just a general problem. I end up taking the battery out for a few minutes and then restarting the phone. Usually after that it's fine again. This doesn't cure the problem forever, meaning that it will happen again, but next time just quickly remove the battery and restart. Hope this helps.
Hold the phone button down for about 4 seconds.. The light should blink 2 times and then stay on to add device to your phone once connected light will go out...Hold button down again light will blink 3 times and go off...........
According to some trouble indicated by another person, the unit must be fully charged to make the initial connection.
I didn't experience any trouble myself. However, I recommend the following:
Make sure Bluetooth is turned on for your phone. For security reasons some cellular phones will force you to turn on Bluetooth each time you turn on your phone.
If your cellular phone prompts you for anything when trying to connect, try entering "0000".
Make sure the headset is turned on before you try to find it with the phone. The blue LED on the headset should have a slow, steady blink when the unit is on. If it's not, hold down the large button until the blue LED flashes rapidly.
Try connecting while the headset is connected to the power adapter.
Press the "1" key and hold for a few seconds, this will bring up your voicemail.
Next, key the pre-set passcode of 9999, this will allow you to set-up your own message and passcode. The phone tells you how.
