Question about Canon FAX-JX200
HELLO, I CHANGED THE INK CARTRIDGE ON THIS MACHINE TODAY,
AND NOW THE ERROR MESSAGE READS "!!!CHECK !!! 5100
CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT THE PROBLEM MIGHT BE? THANK YOU.
I fix this problem that way:
1. turn off
2. turn on with open cover
3. while loading cought cartrige in left possition and took it out
4. when complete - thet turn off/on with open cover
4.1 cartrige holder stack in right position then i press again off/on
5. put cartrige back
my fax started printing out errors that something wasnt delivered

K this problem is caused by two things one the cartridge and then a paper error, this is what i did first remove the cartrige then clean the print head with a cloth and some spirits, then put in the cartrige again, ok step one down now, the problem still comes up because the cartrige cause the error now there are still error reports that needs to be printed so, put in paper in to the printing paper feeder and shut down and start up the fax/printer

Did you lift the cartridge up to where it was able to clear the paper deck? IIRC 5100 means that the ink carriage is stuck.

Remove the cartridge and see if it goes away, if does then you probably have a defective cartridge are are not inserting it correctly.
