If 3 beep....if I'm not wrong its a VGA chips problem. You need to send the board to check. But first what I recommend is try to remove external hardware one-by-one.Like memory,DVD,..
after remove one-by-one try to tuun on and see.If it doesn't work then its a VGA chips problem.
Goodluck,takecare.

you got a YLOD yellow light of death when you get a yellow light briefly and then the red lights start blinking, you need to reflux the solder on the processors and apply heat to them, here is a link on how to do the repair, if you are not good at doing these kind of work, I would suggest taking it to a pro.

HP dv6000 Laptop screen only starts up 1/4th of the time

The first issue you had with one long beeps and two short beeps is a memory module error. see the following HP website:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01732674&cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=1842155 I would replace the memory chips and try again. If you have more than one chip try booting with one at a time to discover that one of them may be bad.

Sounds like you have a lot of spyware and malware. Anti-spyware software (such as SpyBot) and antimalware software 9such as Malwarebytes) may not ultimately help, but it's worth a try. I really think that you will need to completely reinstall Windows. Use the CD that came with your system, as it has all your drivers. Let us know if you need help to reinstall. Good luck.

Screen won't appear upon start up and I get 3 beeps but no screen

3 beeps POST code (power on self test) means RAM problem.
Reseat the RAM module/s and boot up your computer.
If you have two RAM modules, remove them both and insert one at a time to test them, to determine which module is faulty.
If it still doesn't work then replace the RAM module/s

what you are hearing is a beep code, if its 3 short beeps then its the memory which has developed a fault and it may need to be replaced

PC will not reboot.

Either something has wiped out your operating system and you need to reformat the hard drive and reinstall it, or your hard drive went Since it worked fine the day before and just did this right away, my guess it that your hard drive went bad. But you can try both options though. Hope this helps.

White screen

This is a problem that could have a number of different causes, so I'm going to recommend that you take it to a tech for a professional diagnostic. Generally a white screen is for a bios password, but with nothing on it, then it could be a bios error, or failed motherboard component. I'm going to say that it is a motherboard component failure of some type, but it could be something simple. This nproblem has such a wide variant that it's going to be near impossible for me, or anyone else to diagnose over the internet, (not having hands on), so, again, I'm going to recommend a professional hand on diagnosis.
