The FM aerial input is simply just a female banana socket.
For FM reception, you can use any thin insulated wire, keeping it clear as possible from TV screens, fluorescent tubes, to minimize interference.
For the plug, strip end of wire 2 in (50.8 mm) long, fold bared part back on itself to form a U-loop about 1 inch 25.4 mm long, squeeze it a bit so end is V-shaped, insert into socket.
Long wire boosts signal strength.
A matchstick can help to secure the wire in socket.
EDIT:
Best to try get hold of the proper FM single-wire antenna which has 75 ohms matched impedance and correct plug for best signal.
If AM reception is required, you need an AM loop antenna.

You need a 75 Ohm standard aerial connector to 75 Ohm miniature RF connector adapter to fit the socket..

SOURCE: rj45 male to db9 male cable for ups

If you have a BackUPS CS, you are probably either using it with the USB cable that is supplied or with the 940-0128A supplied by APC, which permits running the UPS in dumb mode. By building your own cable, you can now run the BackUPS CS models (and perhaps also the ES models) using smart signalling and have all the same information that is available as running it in USB mode.
The jack in the UPS may be easily use a 8 pin RJ45 connector. It is easy to construct the cable by cutting off one end of a standard RJ45-8 ethernet cable and wiring the other end (three wires) into a standard DB9F female serial port connector.
PC Signal PC pin UPS Pin UPS signal RxD 2 2 TxD TxD 3 8 RxD GND 5 7 Ground FG Shield 4 Frame Ground Though these UPSes are USB UPSes, APC supplies a serial cable (typically with a green DB9 F connector) that has 940-0128A stamped into one side of the plastic serial port connector.
Here is suggested scheme of original 940-0128A cable
APC Part# - 940-0128A computer --------- Inside the Connector--------- UPS DB9-F | | RJ45 pin - signal | | Pin - Color | | 4 DSR ->|---+ | | | diode resistor | 6 DTR ->|---+---->|----///---o kill power | 8 Orange | | 1 DCD <-|----+ | | | | 2 RxD <-|----+----------------+--o low battery| 3 Brown | | | 7 RTS ->|----------+--///--+ | | | | | +--///--+ | | | | 8 RI <-|----+----------------+--o on battery | 2 Black | | | 9 CTS <-|----+ | | signal | 5 GND --|-----------------------o ground | 7 Red | | 3 TxD | | | chassis | Chassis/GND |-----------------------o ground | 4 Black | | | Not connected | 1, 5, 6, 9, 10 --------------------------------------

SOURCE: connecting creative labs fps 1600 sound system to laptop. How?

hi, i recommend just using the headphone out, and it probably will not hurt the notebook, as it is not feeding back into the notebooks sound device. you may wish to do as i did, and get a creative labs external sound card. much improvement over the on-board high def sound built into my acer notebook.with all the connections you would want! as for speakers there are alot of models to pick from.i usually go with creative, but this time i went logitech- thx, dts, ect. and i am very happy. i hope this helps you make a decision on what do. good luck!glen

SOURCE: What is the right rs232 cable to connect a Denon 3808CI reciever and a Phillips RFX9600 serial extender

OK LOOKING AT THE SPECS FOR THE EXTENDER YOU DO NOT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT THE SERIAL CONNECTIONS, WHEN USING THE SERIAL CONNECTIONS YOU NEED RS232 CODE STRINGS TO CONTROL THE DENON OR ANYOTHER DEVICE THROUGH THIS EXTENDER USING THE RS232 CONNECTIONS.
IT LOOKS LIKE YOU CONNECT AN I/R EMITTER FROM AN MINI JACK I/R CONTROL PORT ON THE BACK AND THE OTHER END TO THE I/R WINDOW ON THE DENON

Connect tv to hifi speakers

It doesn't lokk like your TV has an analog out for your Kenwood system. It might have an optical out but unless the Kenwood has optical in then you'll need to upgrade to a Home theater system with HDMI.

My kenwood compact disk payer rxd-a53 shut off now it keeps click

Your problem is caused by a blown fuse on the main board 6.3amp 125volt time delay fuse replace with the exact same type. The reason the fuse blew is most likely because they is a problem with the amp.
I suspect one of the finals is blown 2SD2560 or 2SB1647. Open the case and with the power unplugged replace the fuse, next unplug the 4pin connector from the amplifier board 3 black wires and one red.
now plug in the RXD-A53 and turn it on. you should now have the display working and no clicking.
unplug it from the wall and reconnect the 4 pin connector and now plug it back in and turn it on if the fuse blows again take it to a qualified service technician, the above noted output transistors will run you about 6 bucks a piece they are 4 of them 2 of each for each channel plus labor.
