These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. Please try the following

- Lift the cover to expose the flat bed scanner glass.
- Under the cover, there is a long white bar with two white tabs perpendicular to the white bar.
- One of the tabs could be retracted. Pull on the tab until it is fully extended.

Error 5 is usually flash obstructed. Help it into the open position cycle the camera off and on and see if it will work when it's up. If error 5 persists check for two tiny black plastic rods about the size of a pencil lead sticking up. They should be free to move up and down and be spring loaded up. If they are stuck that's your problem. Iso-Propyl alcohol on a cotton bud MAY help but use it very sparingly.
If it works when up but is stiff to open and shut the hinge (right hand side viewed from the front) may be corroded. I disassembled mine cleaned rust off the hinge and it's fine. Make sure you record which side arm (that limits the travel of the flash) is which and which way up it goes. With those two off there are three small screws holding the flash together. remove them and slide the flash cover forward. Now you can ease out the bearing (the wires go through the middle so you can't take it right off) and clean it.

this error comes from fuser unit u have to change fuser unit

The mode was selected for Hd, just change it to Ld and it allows you to take more pictures.

This can be one of 2 things... either you are using built-in flash and its not popped up all the way, or you used flash on hotshoe and camera still thinks flash is on hotshoe. Known problem with microswitches on hotshoe sticking.
