Question about Hannspree (K206-10U1-005) Television
I'm wondering about your suggestion of a fuse as a possible fix. What would cause the problem to be so intermittant? The red light goes on to signify it is getting power (but no pix or sound). When it decides to come on with picture and sound, both are OK. Is there a better way to get the screen/sound to come on? Do you think the problem might be in the on/off switch? Or the capacitor (not sure what that is)? TV is over 10 years old.
I am having the exact same problem with my tv. Have you figured out how to fix it yet?

I also have a Samsung model TTB-1320 and the power timer light sometimes just flashed and when the power timer is on I can not turn on the tv, I thought it might be in a timer mode though I do not have any owner's manual for this nor do I have the original remote control. If anyone has an owner's manual for this model tv set it would be greatly appreciated if you would send it to me through fixya.com and let me know when it has been posted at fixya.com as perhaps this problem could be resolved with the owner's manual. Also if anyone can tell me how to resolve this that would be appreciated to. This TV set is likely not worth me trying to hire someone to fix it though if I can fix it myself it might be worth fixing. It also is not set to receive all of the cable channels when it has gone on I have heard without the original remote control one can configure it for receive cable tv though how? Can it also be taken out of timer mode without a remote control and if yes how? It also has a loose F connector on the back of this tv how can I fix this? Where can I get the original remote control for this tv at and a original type antenna for this TV at? Sincerely, Steven wizardman

I sent model number a few days ago. I think your possible diagnosis might be accurate. Any suggestions? I don't want to have to keep it on all the time once it is on. This morning I got it to go on by banging the TV and rattling the cord. It is hooked up to a DVD and VCR -- would this be creating voltage problems?

Can you give me the model number? Sounds like it has a bad connection in the horizontal or low voltage power supply
