Try connecting it to your computer and go to "My Computer" and right-click on the drive and click "format".

I meant to further refine my comment before posting it, so let me elaborate.

I was able to fix my sister's YP-MT6 by first copying everything off of it, and then going to "My Computer", right clicking on the removable drive, clicking on "format", and then "start".

Samsung has a firmware update on their website, but some people have had problems updating to it.

It looks like the link in my first post didn't come through so here it is: comments on the Cnet Forums about the YP-MT6

Some people think that there might be a bug that if you have either too long a file name or too large of a file, that it will cause the YP-MT6 to reset/reboot.

I would advise reffering to the Samsung website and reinstalling the firmware on the unit. This should install the files you deleted.

Samsung YP-T6 MP3 player keeps turning off when system loads 100%

I have had the same problem several times. Each time I needed to flash the firmware. Go to Samsung.com support > download center > type in the model number (yp-mt6) click on firmware, and download the version that corresponds with your device. install the firmware updater on your computer, plug in your device. and flash the firmware. (this will erase ALL songs and settings so you will want to back those up first). After that its like brand new. Kepe the updater handy, I fixed this the first time, and it kept reoccuring every few months.

Keeps restting itself

Firstly, try "re-setting" the Z5 (ie micro switch) first. If this doesn't resolve, then firstly save a backup of all your files...then use the 'format' function (ie open My Computer, then open the YP-Z5 folder, then look for the Format function), which will clean out your entire memory, including hidden files. Then download the latest firmware update from Samsung website (download centre/mp3) and save newest firmware onto your Z5. Always update your Z5 with latest firmware (appropriate with your Windows OS). Good luck.
