Not getting equal sound in my headset

I have only had my MP3 player since Feb. and all of the sudden when I play it I only get sound for the right side, same in my car w/the adapter. I tried switching headsets and that has not worked. Any clue?

Faulty headphone jack in unit. Possibly worked loose while inserting headphones. If still under warranty...return or replace. Otherwise, find someone who can open the unit and make necessary adjustments.

Music only plays on right side of headset. changed headset but have same problem

Sounds like you have a problem with your audio port. Try to loosen the connection of your headphone and see if it changes anything. If it does then that's where the problem is. Probably loose connection or something's shorting it.

My ipod will play a song, but only the music will come through and not the voice

This is rather unusual as it appears that you are playing your music in 'karaoke' mode on your iPod (but you should still slightly hear the vocals).
Try setting another music equalizer mode such as 'POP' or 'ROCK'.

some mp3 players REQUIRE the headphones, headset, earphones connected. The wire functions as an antenna. So try using it with headphones. If the problem persists, then it has something to do with the gadget itself. Hope this gave you a hint on what to do! Good luck!

ITouch 2nd g only plays music throuhg left side of all headphones

Try playing with the headphone plug, until you can also hear the right
channel and also try a different set of headphones as it is probably a
matter of an intermittent headphone jack, or plug, owing to sudden
snatching of the headphone plug from same, a very common problem.

Eliminate this cause before submitting your Touch for much more
expensive remedies
