Question about Refrigerators
I have instructions that tell me to use it, but how does it enter programming mode?
I have the problem with my Maytag refrigerator losing program code. I found the programming instructions in the bag with the schematic, this was in a plastic bag taped behind the toe plate on the front bottom.

Turn Off the computer, now as soon as you hit the
power button, keep on holding "Alt" key & keep on tapping "F10 key,ie:
Alt+F10, it will open the recovery console ,select full factory restore and
follow on screen instruction. (Note:this will erase all datas on the computer)
During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a
certain key to enter setup
Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter
BIOS you can load failsafe defaults
or load optimized defaults ,press escape then press f10 to save to cmos
click start all
programs accessories scroll to system tools from there you should see a system
restore click next a sytem date should open up select the date you want to
restore your computer to but i think you should find out why it crashed first before doing a full restorerestart your computer repeatedly tapping the f8
key to enter safe mode while the screen is black once in safe mode where the
only things working will be your keyboard and mouse allowing you to attempt to
repair your computer you could select the option start at last known
configuration that worked this will tell you if and what file has been
corrupted or missing then you will know if its a hardware issue then select
restart if the problem still persists f8 back into safe mode you might need to
select your operating system to load into safe mode click start control panel
administration tools computer management in the left panel events + to expand
then system you will see all errors in right panel right click select
properties this will tell you what has occurred and the time it occurred you
might use the system restore to restore your system to an earlier time click
start all programs accessories system tools you should see your system restore
option if it is a hardware
