The car runs slugsh

Hi there,

this could be any number of things, I would start by doing a service on the car. Oil, air and fuel filters and an engine flush and oil change. This may well solve your problems. If not then try some fuel system cleaner as well.

Hope this helps.

My engine make a noise on start up and then it goes away later I replaced the tesioner, but the noise is still there Any suggestions ? Thanks Jack Edwards

Is this a clattering noise? hydraulic tappets can sometimes make a clattering noise on start-up as they dont have the oil in them to perform to their best. Maybe try an oil additive to thicken your oil, when was your last service? if not been one for a while I would at leat change the oil and filter, try to get a good quality oil flush to use, this way all of the old stuff will clear through better before refilling with a good quality oil.

Hope this helps.

I just got an oil change in my '03 neon this last Saturday. I also brought it in to have the transmission checked yesterday(2/3) and they read the codes for me. One of the codes was for Low Oil Pressure. I...

First of all you must check the OIL sump Level in the engine. Lift the dip stick to find out the level. Now if this is lower then look under the car for any leaks. If not the fault can be the OIL PRESSURE SWITCH. Check the wires to this switch and trace for any breaks in the wiring.

Oil leak from the gear box do i need a new gear box or is there a seal that needs changing

First off, you should remove your gearbox from the trunk and stop using it as speakers and a sub woofer. While it's disconnected from the engine, you can do a visual inspection if any seals need changing. Don't forget to look the source of your leak. Selecting the correct category for your problem will give you a much accurate solution which could be answered in less time.

Would a Pyramid 15" subwoofer work for my Yamaha synthasiser?

Do yourself a favor do not get anything Pyramid they are cheap for a reason and you will not get good bass response from them even in a optimal enclosure. If you want nice bass for little money go with lanzar opti 1535D sub you can pick one up for around $265 and will blow away Pyramid any day.
