It should be retively simple, first remove the cover for the printer, then cut the new roll to make a "v" shape at the begining, then slide the paper into the slot and press the feed key until it feeds out. replace the cover and your done.

Thank You,

Hi, my calculator casio hr 8tec shows the message " e P" and it's doesn't print anything. It`s like it's stuck.... Thanks

It thinks it's out of paper.
Pull out and re-feed the paper.
If it's out of paper, put more in.
If that doesn't help, remove the paper, and take a look at the paper out sensor, and make sure it's functioning ok, and re-insert the paper.

On my TI-84 Plus calculator, all the buttons on my calculator work EXCEPT for the = sign. Can someone help me w/ this problem?

Just to try, please clear everything and press the = sign.

Try pressing it firmly and with a rocking motion.
Does the display flicker?

If nothing happens ...
I guess you know the answer to that.
Taking it to a service depot is an expensive proposition.

At this point you have nothing to lose, but you may have something to gain.
You can try taking it apart.

You'll need a small Philips screwdriver, some masking tape, some rubbing alcohol or the blue stuff used on fondues, a paper towel, and several Q-tips.
Make sure you have proper ventilation and there are on open flames anywhere near.

- Put the masking tape over the keys. This will help prevent them from flying all over the place.
- Remove the screws and pry it apart gently.

Remember, "Nothing to lose" is not the same as "Nothing to gain"
If it works you'll have a working calc again, and some new experience.

There may be two or three screws holding the little board in place. Remove them and gently again separate the board from the front plate.
There you'll see a rubber thinghie covering the front of the board. Separate it carefully.

You're almost there.

First wipe the board with the paper towel moistened with the cleaning fluid and put it aside.

Now thake a Q-tip, moisten it with the fluid and wipe each and every one of the little rubber protrusions. Get a new Q-tip every time it gets dirty.

Make sure there is no paper fluff on any of it.
Give it a few seconds to dry and start re-assembling the calculator.

If the problem was a poor contact, you have solved it.

Can't find a manual online. What does 5/4 mean, and how do I turn it off? Same for E. My biggest problem is that when I add up numbers with the print function on (for depositing large batches of...

The manual for the Canon P1-DHV is online at>.
When the display shows "5/4", the calculator is doing 5/4 rounding which means: 5 or above round up, 4 or below round down. To control rounding press the "5/4" key.
When the display shows "E" the calculator could not complete a calculation. It can be because of dividing by 0, or because the total exceeded 1 trillion, or because the operator entered calculations faster than the calculator could complete them. Press the CI/C key to clear it.
I can't explain why you are not getting a total on the tape. Try the following example from the manual exactly as shown, and let me know if your tape shows the total.
  1. Clear the calculator (press [CI/C])
  2. Choose 5/4 rounding (press [5/4] until "5/4" displays)
  3. Choose add mode (press [DEC] until "A" displays)
  4. Choose cost-sell-margin mode (press [B-T] until "B" displays)
  5. Turn printer on (press [PRINT] until "PRINT" displays)
  6. To calculate: $12.55 + $15.75 - $5.30
  7. Key in: 1255 [+] 1575 [-] 530 [=]
  8. Tape shows: [0. C] ... [12.55 +] ... [15.75 -] ... [5.30 =] ... [23.00 *]

Hello I am wanting an instruction manual for a Casio LR54x1 Calculator. Thanks Louise

LR54x1 is not the the model number of your calculator. It is the reference of the button battery you calculator uses.
Check your number model and then go to Casio support page, click on "Calculators", agree to the Terms and Conditions, and look for your calculator.
If your calculator isn't listed, download the manual for the SL-450L under Standard Calculator. It will probably be suitable for your calculator too.

How do I install printer paper on a Cannon P120-DH adding machine?

At the very back of the calculator under the paper roller there is a very thin horizontal slot.

Insert the tip of the paper roll into the slot, then press the paper advance button located on the top left hand side of the calculator until you see the paper.
