Question about Nokia N73 Cellular Phone

Phone memory anomaly

My n73 alerts me frequently of "low memory" on to its phone memory. the funny thing was, I don't save any items on to my phone memory, except on to my contacts and calendar notes (60kb). I only had 173 Kb memory left and my almost 42mB memory was used by an anomalous and unknown entity. how can i solve this problem? please help me? thanks

got some same problem but what i did is erased all the txt messages inbox and out box. go to your LOG and set the log to no log. if it is set 30 days imagine how many infos i.e. bits there are that would add up or eat up the phone memory.

Memory low error. i can't receive or send text messages. when i showed it to a friend there are no virus it seems that my phone memory has a lot of saved datas

yes, it is the reason. Free some memory by deleting the unnecessary or less necessary item to get rid form this issue.

Your can download a software Called MEMORY UP from this link. It will help you to free some memory and will speed up your phone. But keep the 1st phase of my solution in your mind. Its mandatory.

download the software from here,

best of luck!

Nokia n73 software problem..

hi, it means most of the information you have is saved on your phone memory...what you need to do is to transfer all data and applications saved on the phone memory to your memory card...if after doing this you still get the same message, you would need to scan for virus.
cheers pal.

My phone alerts me with low memory, please delete some data, I don't even save items on my phone even contacts. How can I solve this?

How about your messages? Some how, some files might have been stored in your phone memory and you not knowing.

I would advise you set your phone to factory default settings so that those hidden files would be deleted and don't forget to remove your memory card before you carry out the factory default settings.

Take care.

Low memory msg

Happened to my n73 too. What you have to do is format the phone memory. Back up all memory on the phone to the memory card first before you do so.

To format:
  1. turn phone off.
  2. hold the following keys WHILE its turning back on: (3 + * + green call key)
  3. do not let go until it asks you about your location
Your phone will gain 44mb back and go back to normal. :)
