MY FIRST CHECK IS THE LID SWITCH. DOES IT CLICK WHEN YOU CLOSE THE LID? EVEN IF IT DOES, IT MIGHT STILL BE BAD. IF IT DOESN'T, IT IS DEFINITELY BAD.
DOES THE TIMER ADVANCE THROUGH THE SPIN CYCLE?
IF NOT, THE TIMER MAY BE BAD. IF IT DOES GO THROUGH THE SPIN CYCLE, THERE COULD BE PROBLEMS ELSEWHERE. IF YOUR MACHINE HAS A SELECTOR SWITCH FOR AGITATE AND SPIN SPEEDS, MAKE SURE ONE OF THE BUTTONS IS PRESSED IN ALL THE WAY. IF
YOU DON'T HAVE ONE OF THE BUTTONS SELECTED, IT WILL BREAK THE MOTOR CIRCUIT.
