First, try doing sequence power cycle by turning off the printer, computer and the router (if you're using one attached to your system) to make sure everything works perfectly in the printing process. Moreover, you may try to open the back cover where the batteries are and press the pinter reset button to refresh the printer settings.
mine is doing the same thing. I read that the 3V battery may need to be changed.... so I changed the 3V and all four AA batteries and hit reset and am still experiencing the same as you. Random **** printing when display seems okay. Never same stuff twice. Very frustrating.
You might try connecting the USB cable directly to one of the computer's USB ports. My scale (DigiWeigh) showed as not connected when it was connected to a USB hub. When it is connected directly to the computer, it shows the scale as connected. Unfortunately, it still won't transfer weights to the Dymo Stamps software.
