Question about Sharp AL-1655CS Copier

Sharp 1655cs- replace the drum cartridge

I have replaced the drum cartridge but this warning still won't clear. Thanks for the help in advance.

    We have a Sharp Copier AL-1655CS. It showed we needed a new cartride. We replaced the old one with a new one but we still got the indicator still blinked but would print. We did this for a few weeks but now it will not print at all with the indicator still blinking. What do I do.

There is a set of gears in the front of that drum cartridge with a flag on one of the gears, It has to be in the up position to swipe the drum replacement sensor. Most likely the flag had dropped in shipping.
You can take the green front off the drum and try and get that flag up and to the right. Or take the drum cartridge for a return and a new cartridge.
If that flag has dropped in shipping, it will not reset the drum count.

Have you replaced with a new drum cartridge? If so, does it still display error message? You have to simulate 24 sub 7 to reset drum .

My Sharp AL-1655CS copier has new drum and toner. Leaves blank banding lines verticaly down the page in at least three areas.


This is a good one you may need to get it serviced.
The toner is held to the drum by static which rolls the toner onto the paper and seals the deal you may have a bunk drum, Validate your warranty and check for a service center.

It means that you should replace the toner and developer cartridge.
