Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional for PC
I can start my comp and do what i want but it is not shutting down and i am forced to shut off the power supply. also my comp hangs up a lot when i am using certain applications. please solve.
If your system is delaying in the shutdown process it may be the required INF files missing in the OS. If that is so you need to re-install the OS and make sure that you may shutdown the system properly and do not swith off the system directly.

for this problem you need to reinstall the operating system I think shutdown.exe is missing in your system.
