If your digital recorder has a Video In (Composite Video Input, usually a yellow RCA connector), then the answer is Yes.

Hope that fixed ya...

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

not 100 % sure but on my dvr that is auto record. if you right click and go to record and then click in each frame of in the selection box you can get them to do a manual record. than it changes to a dark color. i checked mine and they are all blue and they are recording in auto mode and they loop when the drive gets full.

I have just got a cctv camera it only shows up on av2 however i can't record that channel i can only record av1, its driving me crazy!!!

Some VCRs have the ability to switch the output/input of AV2 so you can record it. Look for the AV1 or AV2 on the menu of the VCR for recording options.
Otherwise get one of these Scart boxes which you can find on Amazon. The buttons allow you to record and switch sources. They are not expensive.

Just reduce the frame rate slightly on each camera or the record quality and it will increase the data retention period.

1fps vs the claimed 30fps

Hi,

Look at the admin settings. Normally you have to specify at what you want to record, irrespective of what the cameras can do. Actually each camera should be able to do 30fps

Check out better hardware if you need it here.
