It started with just one little hiccup and then the screen would go to blue screen, kind of reset itself, with audio still running. And then the movie would pick up just fine. Has now progressed to near constant flashes of light, and movie is unwatchable. Help

During the movie I get a signal interuption, The screen goes white and sometimes "pops" with a loud noise. It always states a weak signal on screen. The movie will come back on and play just fine.

Same U73 error here. It's obviously HDMI related with either your receiver or television and the Player. It will continue unless fixed by Panny. It's really unfortunate that all of us hard working schmucks are these guys Beta Testers.

Hello Myles, we recommend you connect the player with a HDMI cable and then set the player's output to 1080p.

Why do my dvd show u-73 and won't play when it is hooked to my onky 806 receiver

U73 indicates the unit is not 'handshaking' with the display device via HDMI. Try a different HDMI lead and see if the problem persists. If so, try it with a different display device.

Upgrade BD30 wi-fi

To upgrade the firmware you will need to download the newest firmware from this site: http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/bd/download/bd30/index.html and burn it onto a cd. If you can't or don't want to burn the cd it looks like they will can send a copy of it to you.

Dmp bd30 will not play normal. It will only play regular DVDs.

Unfortunately the problem is in the laser pickup assembly, the Blu-Ray DVD requires a higher velocity and precision to play this type of disc and is the first to fail. The only solution is to replace the DVD Player rather than have it repaired, far cheaper in the long run.

U73 error code

Panasonic SC-BT200EB Blue Ray Home Cinema system will not work without an expensive (£80) 1.3a HDMI cable. Lesser cables will produce U73 error on the blue ray player and no picture on the TV.
