***I'm pretty sure your power supply is dead, you will either #1 take to repair shop or #2 replace it yourself.

The Best Value 550W Gold PSU 12cm 24-Pin 550 PSU is compatible.

The Corsair Memory 550W VX PSU is compatible and Corsair is an excellent brand, but you may have an issue locating the excess power connectors inside the case.

The Xilence XP480-12R Power 480W Quiet PSU would be fine, providiing the "hard drive connectors:2', are 4-pin Molex connectors.

Your motherboard supports DDR SDRam I assume the ram sticks you bought fit in the socket correctly and are the right way round?
Try the computer with each ram stick seperately. Just because ram is new doesnt mean its not defective.
What configurations do you have?
Are you using two corsair sticks or two kingston or a mix of both and what models are they?

Amd a64 x2 4 athlon 64 x2 dual core processor & Corsair xms2 2 gb

What we really need to know is the socket type for the AMD. AMD makes sockets 939, AM, AM2, AM2+, AM3, etc. www.newegg.com will be the best friend you could ask for. I highly suggest their expert forums and chats as well, they'll help if someone here doesn't. But either way still need to know what socket that amd is. 5200, or 4200 or something like that is also more descriptive, thats how they ID their products. Mine is an AMD phenom II 920. Good proc.

New pc won't boot

Continuous Beeping: Memory or video problem This is usually caused by a problem with the system memory, or possibly the video card. The memory is more likely--the system complains long and loud if it can't find any usable memory, as there is no way to even start the boot process when this is the case. The motherboard itself could also be the problem. hope this helps
