Hi,
You need to be running a particular program for the unit to be activated. There are several and so we wouldn't know which one is installed. You can try looking at Start/All Programs/anything that says "***Scan***" such as
ScanShell 800N, Scan2Contacts,
Scan2Web for Business cards,
IdScan for Business Cards,
Scanshell.net for Business Cards and a lot more.
Additionally, instructions for use depends on what the scanning is intended to be used for: email, web, database, ACT, CRM or plain card. Perhaps this
site can help you by clicking on the particular operation you are interested in.
