Re: after power outage we get a service code
The service code is probably "loss of Power" error.
One thing you might try is getting a battery back up that is rated for a copier machine.
This way if the power goes out the battery back up would keep power going to the machine preventing the error code.
FYI... the battery back ups are NOT made for copiers. You need on that is rated to back up a regular copy machine.
Hope this helps a bit.
Good luck. Have a good day. Mac =)

That is the error code for a power supply failure or the printer not receiving enough power to heat the fusilier to print. This can be due to an power outage or not enough electricity flowing into the machine.
If the machine is receiving full power, you'll need to get rid this error through entering service mode.
1. Hit "additional functions" key on the printer's keypad.
2. Press and hold 2 & 8 at the same time for one second.
3. Hit additional functions key again. NOTE: from this point forward you'll be in service mode which has a 60 operational second window. After 60 seconds it will exit out of this mode and you'll have to start over.
4. You've entered service mode. Now hit "copier"
5. "Function" key
7. "Err" . There should be an error or the error code in this section select this part.
8. Hit "ok"
9. Restart the printer by switching off the physical black power switch on the side and switching it back on.
The printer should restart and be working normally.
you should be able to get into service via trouble reset hold utility button while turning on copier when you get to trouble reset screen do the stop 0 stop 0 1 and that should get you in. You might need to put the stock firmware on to cure the fault. If you need anymore help i can look into it for you.
The printhead is stuck in the tilted position. Did you have a power outage or turn it off by unpuging it? Not hard to fix but you have to tear it down and rehome everything. sometimes if you turn it off and turn it back on it will find home on itself. But rehomeing it works every time. If you dont know how to do this call a service center.
H-4 code is to let you know that the fusing unit did not reach a certain temperature in a certain amount of time. Likely caused by power outages or fluctuations.
You'll need to reset the code by pressing in rapid succession: # * C * on the keypad, it may take a time or two to get it right; you'll know you're in the programing when the display goes dark. press 14 and then the copy/start button.
This will reset the code and if the lamps and thermistor work then the problem won't come back. However, if it does, it likely means you have bad power coming into the machine, or the fuser lamps need to be replaced.
Hello sir; Try to do a reset, open clamshell and remove top front cover, close clamshell and reconnect cable from cover to DC controller. turn on power and then short pins JP101 & JP102, the display will show out "F" release the short, then put everything back turn on the power.
Go into the service mode ( 10871087 ) then enter 163 then hit the start button. This clears the C6000 (heater error) and if it is a false code due to a power outage, it will clear the code and resume normal operation. If the code comes back, you likely have a bad heater lamp or thermal fuse or thermistor.
I had the same problem after a resent power outage. Here's what fixed mine.
Turn the power switch off. Wait a 15-20 seconds While holding the button on the front panel down turn the power switch on. After the drum light comes on release the button wait then press the button again. Turn the machine off then back on again and you should be back in business.
To prevent the problem in the future if you are not using the printer turn it off and if the power goes off while printing get the printer turned off before the power comes back.
Its a fuser code. Hold down both of the arrow keys for 10 seconds, then press enter. Select 2 for engine, ok, select 7 for data log, ok, scroll to 7807 and execute. exit all of the way out until you get back to engine, then select 3 for end. Recycle power.
turn on the copier and quickly press * (with the little head around it) then 2 and 8 at the same time, then the * again... this should put you in service mode. now press copier >funtcion>clear>err>ok. now turn the copier off and back on, If the code comes back call your service local service tech.
