Bobbin is not catching thread

NOTE TO THE QUESTION. Bobbins do not catch thread. A hook underneath when you use the wheel to advance the machine will come and catch the under thread OR BOBBIN THREAD and pull it up.
Something common and I do it, wrong bobbin in the bottom thread. I have 2 sewing machines so put thread on both plastic and metal bobbins and then just grab the wrong machine bobbin.
If this is not the issue, take the machine apart and clean it well. Note the spots that you are to oil SPARINGLY.

Make sure you are threaded correctly. Also be sure that your bobbin is sitting in the casing correctly. If the timing is right and the hook is catching, the thread may not be pulling through correctly. Clean your machine as well. Make sure your tension spring is clean and doesn't need to be tuned up.

Upper thread is not catching bobbin thread

Carmen, seem that you have carried out the necessary rectification, but could it be your rotary hook tip blunt/broken, if not most probably it needs needle/hook timing adjustment. And this will require your sewing machine technician to do it.

Janome 3000 bobbin thread will not catch. It just quit while I was sewing. I've cleaned the bobbin case and anything else I could but when I put the needle down the thread does not circle the b

try changing the needle
rethread the machine top & bobbin
make sure to use every thread guide
make sure the bobbin is not over wound
make sure the bobbin is turned the right way in the bobbin case
make sure the bobbin is not warped or damaged
if you've done all these things then it's also possible that the machine
is out of time & needs to be checked at a repair shop

I have a consew 225 I think and when I try to bring the thread up from the bobbin the thread from the needle goes down and around the bobbin to bring up the bobbin thread and catches. It will not pass

Your machine probably needs to be adjusted and timed. But make sure you clean under the bobbin area before you try again... or take it to a machine pro

Brother sewing machine vx1120 Ithink won't pick up bobbin thread

have you tried other thread and a different bobbin?  The tension screw on the bobin case could be too tight.
