The brightness is all the way up to 100 without my input, and the OSD screen stays in the middle of the screen, indicating 'Brightness 100'. None of the buttons on the screen work anymore...

So basically I'm stuck with the OSD display in the middle of the screen, all the time!!

    Help!

as the OP said - the buttons dont work... so suggesting resetting the factory settings by pressing the menu button is rather stupid advice

Here's a link to a troubleshooting guide

Maybe you should try re-setting it to factory settings.

Auto adjustment box keeps popping up

Use best quality data cable directly from VGA card to LCD input and your problem will be fixed.
Usually that problem oocured when we use external tv device with CPU and monitor so signals gets weak and auto adjustment popups.

You should have a p0rogram installed that can do it. It might be listed under samsung in your programs. If not there, look in your video settings.
