Question about Brother MFC 210C All-In-One InkJet Printer

Will not print from my computer

I am connected to usb. I have had this prolem before. it is not talking to my computer. I do the same thing to print from my computer as I always did and now it won't print anything, the printer just beeps when I push print on my computer.
Please help

Do you receive an error message on display of the printer? If yes, post it here (or use the search function of this forum).

You have to connect the printer directly to the pc. do not use a hub ,or a cable longer than 3m.

A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer from your computer (if USB connected)> reboot your pc > unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to your computer (if USB connected). Then try to print again once the computer fully recognizes the USB connection or when the WiFi light on the printer turns solid green (if WiFi connected.).


If that doesn't help, try the steps below:

  1. Disconnect the USB cable connecting the printer from your computer.
  2. On your computer, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.
  3. Delete the Lexmark print object.
  4. Reboot computer.
  5. Re-brick your printer by pulling out the power supply - black box where the power cord is plugged into on the back of the printer, and re-plug after 30 seconds.
  6. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to the computer.
  7. Wait until your computer fully recognizes the USB connection. To check, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. If you see a new Lexmark print object in the list, try to print a document to verify that the problem is fixed.

You may also try to update your printer driver by visiting the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/aNGYmW. Select your operating system, download and execute the file.

Can not instal my printer to make it print I need someone to talk me through on installing the thing. PLEASE PROVIDE A TOLL FREE NUMBER TO TLK SOMEONE tomorrow


In order to resolve the issue follow the steps:

Turn on the printer and computer
Connect the USB cable to the computer and printer
In the computer go to control panel and then to printers- Click on add printer- choose local printer
Left side under manufacturer choose HP and on the right choose HP deskjet 990C, follow the wizard and your printer will be installed.
Try printing it shoul work now

My compter file says that my Cannon imageclass 2300 is offline what is the prolem?


Go to the CONTROL PANEL on the computer, select PRINTER?FAX icon, then click on the name of the printer you want to associate with your printing needs and make sure it is connected. This will allow the print jobs to go..... Please let me know if there is any thing else you might need, of if it is still offline, we can go further! Guy :) Pleasure to help out.....

Epson printer not conecting with computer


there might be a connection issue here. if it is connected using a usb cable, check if your printer is talking to the computer, that means you will check if the computer can recognize the printer when connected using a cable,
i hope you state the os of your computer, anyways,

if XP click start--control panel--classic view--system--hardware--device manager--universal serial bus controller--look for usb printing support
(if you found it, connection is good)
if it is not there, unplug and replug the usb and try again, try another port on the computer, if still not, try another usb cable, if both usb are not recognized, it might be the port of the printer or computer, ti=o isolate that, try another computer if thats possible.

Cannot print from computer. printer will print test pages, though


How the printer is connected to PC Via USB or using Network Cable. If it is connected Netwrok cable than printer configuration page and on netwrok configuration there will be IP Address if this is valid IP Address than reinstall drivers and upgrade the Firmware of the printer.

If Printer is connected USB than try different USB Cable and try different USB Port on the computer
If USB port on the computer is working fine and check in Device Manager if the printer has detected as unknown device or not detected at all.
If detected as unknown device than reinstall printer driver if not detected at all than USB Port on the printer is faulty you need to set up hardware repair of the printer.

Printer is connected but does not print

Thanks for using FixYa. Please check the following things first---
· The printer cover is closed and the rear access door or optional duplexer is attached.
· The printer is connected to the power source and turned on.
· The cable connections are secure and the cartridges are correctly installed.
· The paper or other media is correctly loaded in the in tray.
Now check the printer cable connection: If the printer cable is attached to a USB hub, a printing conflict might exist. Use one of the following methods to resolve the conflict:
· Attach the printer USB cable directly to your computer.
· When printing, do not use other USB devices that are attached to the hub.
Now verify if the printer is connected to the correct USB port: If the computer is configured to use both the back and front USB ports on the printer, then you might be printing to the wrong port. The computer has two versions of the printer driver: one for the front USB port and one for the back USB port. If you are connected to the back USB port, but select the printer driver that is associated with the front USB port, the printer will not print. In the application that you are printing from, click File and then click Print. The Print dialog box opens. The Print dialog box displays two versions of the printer driver. Select the version that is associated with the port to which you are printing. The issue will be resolved.

MY PRINTER WONT PRINT


1. Disconnect everything (usb and power cables.)
2. Plug in the power cable, turn on the printer.
3. Get the manual and drivers for your printer and reset it to factory defaults.
4. Delete the printer from Windows Printer control panel. Reboot.
5. If the drivers files you downloaded are .exe files, execute it and follow installation instructions.
Else, plug back the usb cable. Windows should detect it. If asking for drivers, point to those you just downloaded. If it where in .zip format, you first need to uncompress it to some folder.

ok..let's try something more basic..can you do a test page on the printer, without it being connected to the computer, at all? would be nice to know that the printer is known good, eh?
