i purchase a new motherboard mercury model no KVM800M with 80 gb sata but windows xp not installed. please solve my problem

Do you still have the other hard disk? Is xp installed there?
Then you can use the old disk as master and the new disk as slave disk.
Don't you have another hard drive? Then you just need your xp cd and put it in your cd drive. start computer and installation will automatically start. Make sure BIOS is set to boot from cd

80 GB SATA hard disk detected at the time of booting, but at the time of windows xp installation "no drive installed on your machine " message showing. Can you help me?


The XP disc you use might not contain the SATA drivers slip streamed into it.

SATA Hard disk 500GB and Sata CDROM


Could be a problem with SATA drivers. Just try to disable sata support by entering bios setup if applicable.
OR
Find the drivers for sata device and install

Do you have a SATA Cable for your SATA hard disk?
What are the spec's for your RAM, it should be 2 x 184 pin DMMs, 400 MHz, 333 MHz,266 MHz memory. up to 2 GB Ram.

During the install you must press F6 when instructed to install your SATA drivers from floppy disks.

Kvm800m amd2700 1 gig of 2700 shuts down at boot up


because your old motherboard and new hardware resource change over in windows xp so disble in cmos setup ACPI option
or if that have already disable so enble it .
if problem can't solve so reinstall windows xp

Sata hdd cant install


hi
go to your bios setup
go to advanced option your sata hdd is disable enable it.
if it is enable then boot your sys with bootable disk
go to dos mode.
type FDISK
Y
4 TO DISPLAY INFO OYUR PARTITION.
IF YOUR PARTITION ARE NON DOSE DELETE IT
THEN RESTART YOUR SYS.
U CAN INSTALL XP NOW.
