Did the manuel say that it could play videos?
I don't think your MP3 player plays videos, but I am not 100% sure. If you have the manuel I suggest reading it.

I have a Nextar MA 933A model and have the same problem. The root cause of the issue is the player doesn't support DRM 9 or 10. DRM stands for Digital Rights Management. If the player doesn't support DRM 9 or 10, buying tracks from Napster won't work. The only tracks that will work are those that you convert from a CD. I am disappointed by this. I wouldn't have purchased the mp3 player if I couldn't download from Napster.
When you purchase an MP3 player, look at the product detail and make sure it supports DRM 9 or 10.

Go to: (Va a:) www.usasupport.philips.com - click on Espanol Enter your model number (Entra su numero de modelo) On the next page, click on your exact model number without the "B" on the end On the next page, click on "User's Manuals" - look for "Repair"
En Ingles: Make sure you back up all songs on the GoGear before attempting this solution. 1) Back up all files on the GoGear 2) Open up Philips Device Manager (Start --> All Programs --> Philips) 3) Click on the Repair Tab, and look for a msg that says connect the player while holding the volume + button 4) Disconnect the GoGear from the computer and turn the GoGear off - hold in the volume + button and continue to hold it as you reconnect the GoGear to the computer; after holding the volume + button for up to 20 or 30 seconds, a window will open up saying that your device is being repaired (now you can let go of the volume + button); after the repair is successfully complete, your GoGear will be good as new Now you can do the firmware upgrade that will prevent this problem from occuring in the future. Open up Philips Device Manager and click the Update tab. This problem was caused because most GoGear's were designed for Windows XP with Media Player 10 (which is no longer the latest standard). -Tha Mp3 Doctor
If you are using Windows 98, install the drivers. If you are using Windows XP, simply open windows media player. open the Sync tab at the top. and drag and drop on the right to your device. Hope this helps.
