Hello. I have recently received a Venturer portable DVD player that won't read any dvd's. I keep receiving a message that reads "invalid disc." Any ideas as to how to fix it?

I have the same problem. Very frustrading and my solution was to toss it in the trash. Unfortunately these units don't last past 2-3 years.

Player reading invalid disc and disc is not spinning

My dual screen dvd player was reading invalid disc and disc was not spinning. Took player completely apart and white gears had dirt in them. This was preventing the player from spinning. Used dust remover and cleaned the whole inside and now it works great.

My logik lpd850 portable dvd player is turning on but doesnt seem to play any discs it just keeps reading no disc any solutions please.

Hello,

the fault is obviously from the laser (lens) of your player. The lens is very weak such that it cannot load/read data on discs.

The best to do now is to replace the lens and your player will play all discs again.

Take care.

Coby DVD shows Invalid Disc HELP PLEASE

Did you make the disk if you made the disk your computer has to give it a digital signature so the DVD player can read it if you're using a regular DVD then I would very carefully using rubbing alcohol and Q tip clean the actual laser I would be very careful doing this if too much rubbing alcohol is on the Q tip it will ruin the laser you can also try resetting the DVD player by taking out the battery and unplugging it from any power source and leave it that way for at least 20 seconds to a minute if that doesn't work you might have something else wrong

Venturer dvd problem

You can sometimes find discs on the internet for failry cheap that changes the region of the disc before the disc loads. So you might try and find a "region changer disc" on the net. Otherwise, lots of times, once a players region has been changed more than once or twice it will not allow another. If you have already changed it back to region 2 and it is still not working, you might have a bad dvd player now. Hate to be the barer of bad news.
