Question about Amana AFD2535DES French Door Refrigerator
I just bought an amana afd 2535 refrigerator and I am having trouble getting it through the doors in my kitchen. It will fit, but gets hung up on the door handles. Is there a way to remove them and then put them back on?
Ther should be a small allen screw holding them on no?? if not grabbig the handle and lifting straightup will undo front the clips and ssnap them back on when in. I thihk id rather remove the dorr assy though, (3) 5/16 screws under the top hinge covers, adn by pullinf outh the freezer door youll see 2 phillips head screws bout 5 inches in on either side from the rfornt panel of door located in the sliding track itself, after reemoving the screw the entire door will lift off and out, you gain another 3-5 inches that way and not worry about scratchin the appiance going through doorway
