Question about Whirlpool Calypso GVW9959K Top Load Washer
On the front of the machine there is a oval shaped medallion that says 'whirlpool' - pop that out and remove the screw. Next, on the sides about two inches back from the front there are two posts that help hold the top on - use a wide screw driver or putty knife to pry the top up. Once the post disengage it's a easy sailing, sort of.
