Launch the Logitech toolbar from your desktop or from All Programs The settings menu is the 2 gear wheel logo on the toolbar. Start your cam first in the Quick Capture menu (2 film frames) Make sure your USB is 2.0 (enhanced) You may have to reinstall the latest software from here
I would suggest uninstalling the software and trying you cam in a different usb port and installing the software again, but also check in the firewall allowed programmes for whatever IM programme you use.
You can also have a faulty cam or faulty IM programme, so uninstall and reinstall the programme to illiminate it, and ensure you have a good connection as a slow connection causes problems along with running other memory and proccesor hungry programmes
