That was great-- but-- it fails to mention where that wire is---it can be adjusted-- and you can move the arm that has to rest on the very back of the dryer. My wire arm, must have fallen out and then it seemed like it was just too small! Now I moved it to another side hole and and YEA! its working! make sure its long enough to hold onto the very back---:)

Inside the door under the filter housing is 2 strips that sense wetness. If they have dryer sheet goop on them they won't sense moisture. the dryer will therefore thank them clothes is dry. Clean them sensors with windex and party on!
When fabric is of canvas material they can be washed in the washer, suggested detergent to use Baby Shampoo as it is much more gentle on the fabric. Use warm water only as hot will shrink as it does with clothes washed in hot water will also make them stiff and brittle, baby shampoo will also lend a nice scent which will remove any shoe odors noses could detect short wash only, do not dry in dryer without a rack as the tumble action can damage the rubber sole, best if dried in a warm room or outside not in direct sunlight as sun can damage the fabric, best very warm day for drying Good Luck !
Hi dear. Here is some help from the user manual.I hope that helps.Thanks.
DryingRack To use the drying rack Do not remove the lint screen. 1. Open dryer door.
2. Place drying rack inside dryer drum, positioning the back wire
on the ledge of the inner dryer back panel. Push down on
front edge of drying rack to secure over the lint screen.
3. Put the wet items on top of the rack. Leave space between
the items so air can reach all the surfaces.
NOTE: Do not allow items to hang over the edge of the rack.
4. Close the door.
5. Select a timed drying cycle and temperature, or an air cycle
(see following chart). Items containing foam, rubber, or plastic
must be dried on a clothesline or by using the Air Only
6. You must select a time by pressing MORE TIME or LESS
TIME. Reset time as needed to complete drying. Refer to the
7. Press (and hold) HOLD TO START button (about 1 second).
NOTE: You must remove rack for normal tumbling. Do not use
automatic cycles with the drying rack.
This chart shows examples of items that can be rack dried and
the suggested cycle, temperature setting and drying time. Actual

drying time will depend on the amount of moisture items hold.
The rack is to dry things like sweaters or shoes that you would not want tumbling around. When used the items are stationary and the drum rotates around them. Low or no heat can be used to facilitate drying without shrinkage or damage. Eric
It is a trapezoid, the wide end goes toward the door and lines up with the lint trap. You cannot support two boots, or heavy shoes. It just balances in the rim of the door frame. The handle shaped things face down. You kind of have to pinch it into place, and it just rests there, too much weight and it will topple in. Good luck if you have big feet.
I am in dire need of the Fisher & Paykel Dryer rack Model # DEGX1. I now have a two year old who loves Mud puddles and I would love to be able to buy the Dryer rack. If you know where I could find one. could you please contact me @ email@example.com
I had the same problem: they sent me the rack, but no instructions.
But if you look in the product manual for your dryer, there should be a section on how to use the rack. For the Cabrio, which is what I have, it's on page 21.
If you don't have the manual anymore, you can get them online at Whirlpool's web site. Just plug in your model number in the search box, and there it will be.
On mine, nothing "clamps down". There are 3 positions in the plastic rack into which you can insert the wire rest - "F", "H", and "A". God knows what they mean (I think the one rack is intended to be used in various dryers, of different depths), but if I use the rearmost position = "A", the back end of the wire rest rests on the non-moving rear of the drum, and the front of the rack rests on the lint screen holder. Seems to work, but the instructions leave a lot to be desired.
