I have a whirlpool dishwasher.

I have a whirlpool dishwasher. It has a silverware basket that is too small to completely clean the utensils. I wondered if it could be replaced by a bigger basket.
I am not entirely satisfied with the overall cleaning of the dishes--any help

no bigger basket availble, thorough whirlpool any way. a few thingfd to try to improve cleaning:

1. make sure air dry/ economy setting is NOT selected
2. run your hot water in sink proir to starting d/w
3. use a quality powder dertergent ( powder breaks down better in hot water. liqiuid in cold0
4 using a rinsing agent such as rise aid will also aid in overall performance
