How do I get my Sentry Safe S3877 to open when one of the wire is dangling from the battery pack?

Check, you are connecting to the correct spot. That is the place the wire broke off.
It could be you only are using 2 or 3 from the four batteries. Then the voltage is always to low.
Then check you got the right batteries. Never use manganese (Zinc-Carbon) batteries. They don't have enough capacity and can start leaking.

Depending of what you use, always be sure all batteries are the same, charged and suited for your camera. Most of the time even new Ni-CD rechargeable batteries won't work, because the voltage is to low, according to NiMH or alkaline batteries.
Always charge NiMH batteries before using them for the first time, or if they have not been used for a long period. 3 months is a very long period.
Always charge sets of batteries (2 or 4) together.
Do not use alkaline batteries unless it is absolutely necessary. In some cases, alkaline batteries may have a shorter service life than NiMH. Alkaline battery performance is limited, especially at low temperatures. The use of NiMH batteries is recommended.
Never use manganese (Zinc-Carbon) batteries in your camera.

Always low battery

These cameras need good batteries. Make sure you either are using quality Alkaline batteries or NiMH rechargeable.
Also check that previous batteries did not leak and damaged terminals

The freezer door won't open

Hello,
Turn off the freezer.

Step 2
Remove the old seal. Most often, this will require removing the screws that hold the seal in place.

Step 3
Clean the seal location so the new seal has a good surface for a seal. If the old seal was held in place by adhesive, it will be necessary to scrape or wash the old adhesive off in order to get a good bond with the new adhesive. Always use a plastic scraper when a scraper is needed so you don't damage the surface you are cleaning.

Step 4
Install the new seal in the same way the previous seal was installed or per the instructions that came with the seal.

Step 5
Place the battery-powered light in the freezer.

Step 6
Check the new seal all the way around. Use the mirror to see some of the harder-to-reach areas.

Step 7
Carefully heat the seal and reshape it where there are gaps. You want to warm the seal to make it soft, not bake or burn it. Try lower heat settings first, turning on high heat only if the low setting does not soften the seal material.

Step 8
Remove the battery-powered light and turn the freezer Turn off the freezer.

My Magellan Maestro 3210 constantly says low battery while on trip and shutoff, I have it plugged into the astray why would the battery be low, how do I get it off battery power setting, or why is it doing...

Usually when you see low battery like that it means the battery itself needs to be replaced at it can't hold a charge or enough of a charge to be usefull. If you unit is over 18-24 months old then th e battery is most likely the problem. This will happen even if you have always used external power as the battery doesn;t get properlly cycled enough.

It is possible that it is the power source you are using is too low but sounds more like the battery is the problem.

If you have warrenty the battery should be replaced by Magellan. If not a replacement battery is about $30 and is something you may be able to do. You need to remove the back cover and unplug the old battery and plug in the new one and put it all back together.

Here is one link for a battery but there are other just search for Maestro 3210 battery with google or bing and you should find a few places that offer them.

Battery level always shows as low, even when new, charged batteries are placed in the unit.

Hello

Thank you for using FixYa for your problem

Always check the batteries first but if is it still giving the same fault, your camera is faulty.
It should be taken to an authorized repair centre for a repair estimate. Very few digital cameras have any user-serviceable parts.

Please rate our solutions and if you still have problems please call back for more ideas to help you

Canon a590 always low battery with new battey

Don't use regular alkaline batteries (even though you can...) It's a pain to splurge for the more expensive lithium or photo-specific batteries, but they do last. I take A LOT of pictures with my A590, and can usually get several hundred shots out of a set of good batteries. Try Energizer's web site for a coupon, sometimes they have them available.

Olympus Camedia C-2020 Zoom - always reads low battery and then "dies"

Safe way - Try using brand new and fully charged NiMh.

Not for novice - Battery contact points may need cleaning. Use contact cleaner with a cotton swab.

Do not try - Spraying contact cleaner or WD-40 in battery compartment.

Last option - Service center.
