We have the same problem but I cant get the CD drive to open to fix the first steps. Can I connect a cable to my home computer to run the disk/program? I suspect there is some security measure that is keeping it closed until I log on. I have HP Laptop with Pentium M and Windows XP Pro that was given to us by my sister in law. She cant remember her passwords. How can I get past the Windows Log On Password? I tried to hit F8 to go into Safe Mode but even in Safe Mode it seems to take me to that same Log On prompt. Any help would be really appreciated. Steve White steve_m_white@yahoo.com

Forgetting your Windows administrator login password. With no way to get into the system, you can’t even perform basic maintenance, let alone a thorough tune-up. Formatting is always an option, but we consider that a last resort. (Plus, guess who’s going to have to help reinstall all the programs lost after a wipe?) But all hope is not lost. There are a few ways to actually retrieve a lost Windows account password. Read on, and we’ll show you the light.

1st Method:
The first thing which you check if you forget login password. When we install Windows, it automatically creates an account "Administrator" and sets its password to blank. So if you have forget your user account password then try this:
Start system and when you see Windows Welcome screen / Login screen, press ctrl+alt+del keys twice and it'll show Classic Login box. Now type "Administrator" (without quotes) in Username and leave Password field blank. Now press Enter and you should be able to log in Windows.
Now you can reset your account password from "Control Panel -> User Accounts".
Same thing can be done using Safe Mode. In Safe Mode Windows will show this in-built Administrator account in Login screen.

2th Method:
There are a lot of Windows password revealers and crackers available, but we’ve found that Windows Password Recovery Tool is the most effective.:
Windows Password Recovery Tool is one of the easiest password recovery tools to use. It allows you to reset a user account password, including the Administrator password. It is also a relatively small download.

What you need to do is to reset administrator password. I recommend you a third part utility so that your can reset your password without erasing anything.

1. Login to a computer that can link to Internet. Download Windows Password Unlocker 4.0 and decompress it on that PC. Note that: there is a .ISO file. Burn the .ISO file to a CD.
2 Get out the newly created CD and insert it to the locked computer.
3 re-booted the locked computer and then followed the process of instructions. Just a few steps, the old password was removed.'''
4 Setting new password:
Step one: Open the "Control Panel"
Step two: Click the "User Account "
Step three: Select the account you wanna to set a new password.
Step four: Click "changing Account " and "set up password", then fill out the form as listed. Click "Create Password".

Have you tried using a program named Emergency Boot CD Pro ?
You find the image "ebcd-0_6_1-pro-sfx.exe" on the Web using another PC that has a CD burner.

Burn the CD, then take it to the password locked PC and boot off of it.

You will find menu options that allow you to clear the Password on the Administrator or any other
account. Do that, then remove the CD and reboot.

Hope this helps......Paul

How to Bypass Windows Password With Ease?

Nowadays, it comes a common sense to add a BIOS or Windows password for laptop protected. Thus, a feasible advice is to create a Windows password disk in case that you forgot Windows password. But without Windows password reset disk, what should we do in order to bypass Windows password?

It's time to learn how to bypass Windows password with the following two tips and tricks.

Method 1: Bypass Windows password by Safe Mode with Command Prompt

According to Wiki, Safe Mode is a diagnostic mode of a computer Operating System (OS), a special way for Windows to load when a system-critical problem interfering with normal operation of Windows. If you are not able to boot your computer in normal mode or supposed your notebook is infected with Trojans or malware, you are able to get rid of them with Safe Mode. Furthermore, it is easier and safer to bypass Windows password in Safe Mode when you lost or forgot Windows password.

Take Windows 7 for example: there are 3 different types of safe mode: Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking, and Safe Mode with Command Prompt. Below is a guide on how to bypass Windows 7 password with Safe Mode with Command Prompt, which allows you to bypass Windows password with command line. Detailed steps are as follow:

Step 1. Boot or reboot your Windows 7 computer.
Step 2. Press F8 to enter Advanced Boot Options before the Windows 7 loading screen appears.
Step 3. Choose Safe Mode with Command Prompt in the coming screen, then Press Enter.
Step 4. Wait for Windows 7 files to load until Windows login screen comes up.
Step 5. Log in with an administrator account when you see logon screen.
Step 6. A Command Prompt appears.Type net user in the Command Prompt and then hit Enter. All Windows user account names will be listed for you.
Step 7. Type net user 'Alina 123' and hit Enter.
Step 8. The new password has been successfully reset when the command is completed successfully.
Step 9. Log on your PC with the new password.

Note: 'Alina' is your locked Windows user account name. And '123' means the new password you want to reset for the locked account.
Whenever you need to log on to Safe Mode, an administrator account password is necessary. So it is highly recommended you to write Windows password down and sotre it or creating a Windows password recovery disk before lost/forgot Windows password.

Method 2: Bypass Windows password with Windows Password Unlocker
8927126.jpg

However, if you haven't created a password reset disk and forgot all administrator account password, it's better for you to bypass Windows 7 password with Windows password reset software. These reset software allow you to bypass Windows passwordwith a USB flash drive or bootable CD/DVD. Windows Password Unlocker Professional is one of the best choice to reset or change Windows password in a while.

Go through with these steps and recover Windows password with ease!
Step 1. Download Windows Password Unlocker Professional and install it in any computer.
Step 2. Run the program and burn an ISO image file into a blank CD/DVD or USB flash drive.

Step 5: Log in Windows with an administrator account until you see login screen.
Step 6: A Command Prompt appears. Type net user in the Command Prompt and then hit Enter. All Windows user accounts will be listed for you.
Step 7: Type net user iSunshare 12345 and hit Enter.
Note: "iSunshare" is your locked Windows user account name. And "12345" means the new password you want to reset for the locked account. User account "iSunshare" will be reset with new password "12345".
Step 8: The new password has been successfully reset for user when the command is completed successfully.
Step 9: Login Windows 7 PC with the new password.
