Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
My moto razor fell in water for a few seconds. the white dot is only a little red. It only turns on when I take the battery out and then put it back in. My screen is fine but only some of my key pad works. when I press some buttons it tuns its self off. I am currently trying the blowdrying and freezing method. Is this the best solution?
My husband went fishing in the river with his razor, after he tore it all apart trying to dry it,it no longer worked.Ywo months later I was cleaning, found the phone, charged turned it on and it works fine ,except he took keypads off...u get the pic?Patience is a virtue

Another cheaper option to buying a new phone is buy a hex wing screwdriver and take your v3 apart and clean it. I had to do this with mine after i fell in a lake (don't ask!). Use a cotton bud and go over all of the contacts (don't use any cleaning fluid just rub it over). This worked for me and removes all of the residue but if you don't want to risk taking your phone apart then send it to Motorola for repairs or buy a new phone!
Hope this helps

I know you don't want to here this, so be kind with your rating, but the best solution is a new phone. The reason is this: no matter what you do, water is a conductor and the dried residue it leaves behind will also short things out. And water will get to places that you can't.
Sorry, hope that helped save you some time...
