If you are getting lines across the id cards your print head is either dirty or damaged. Try CAREFULLY cleaning it, and if the doesn't work you will need to replace it.

The card have a faint line across after printed. I have cleaned the printer but no luck.


Usually a faint, light line running the full length of the card is indicative of either a need for cleaning, or a problem with the print-head itself. As you've already cleaned the print-head, we can rule that out.

We occasionally see the print-head get scratched, causing this issue. Or, there are occasional (but rare) issues with the electronic components of the print-head. There is not a fix for either, other than to replace the print-head.

Some clients will redesign their badge templates to ensure there is no printing required in the area where the print-head is failed or failing, allowing them to get by without replacement.

As the Pebble line was discontinued in 2012, and it carried only a 2-year warranty, it is unlikely your machine is covered, unless purchased new in April 2013 or later, AND that all required printer cleanings (every 1000 cards) have been done, per Evolis requirements.

Why do I have a white line across the cards?


most likely, your printhead has a damaged pixel on that portion of the printhead. it would need to be replaced. If you need a printhead, i can get you a couple companies including myself.

Lines across photos that are being re produced


Do you have any speakers near by, it could be the magnets in them. You may also want to check the power supply and video card.

HDP600 print ribbon will not align properly. Using the diagnostics section, the color ribbon, ymckk, will not align to its correct starting point so that an accurate id card can be produced. The data is...


If card image is spread out into the yellow panel and the next magenta panel ...and so on skiping panel of the ribbon, then is defenitlly a sensor mis calibration problem. Check if you working in a place where to much natural light is present. The printer needs to detect the diffrent colors of the ribbon panels to print without skkiping them. re-calibrate the sensor. also as to "see or sense" the timing white marks on the ribbon that separates each panel.

Magicard Rio ID 2 Card Photo doesn't fit in the pre printed space on the card


Hi There,

Could you scan one of your cards and insert the image in your reply?
Just a dummy card will do. It helps to be able to see the problem.
Which application are you printing the badges from?
The image position is only for very small 'fine tuning' adjustments to the card start and end positions.

My Siny Trinitron G21M1 is producing horizontal lines across the screen

I hope your TV model is Sony KV-G21M1 and you see color bars as horizontal lines across the screen.

Vertical fading lines


Sounds like dust on the CMY ribbon. Did you try a new color CMY ribbon?

Possibly the printer has dust floating around on the inside, but if balck prints good, that may not be.
