I have no doubt in my mind that your router is defective. If you recently purchasesd it, Retrun it for a new one, you can also return it to linksys for an exchanged one.

The admin username and password might be changed. if you are not familiar, you can reset the router to its factory default settings by pressing and holding the reset button at the back of your router. you will see there a small button, usually, encircled red. Use a pen or a pointed thing to reset it.

you have to press and hold the reset button for 10-15 seconds while it is on.

Wait for a minute and try to access your router again.

Regards.

I can't reset my cwr-854 router by pressing the RESET button for more than 1 minute and nthing happens , either in Power ON and OFF

You can reset this Wireless Access Point by clicking on Reset button, and then press OK button to confirm your decision.

Note: you can also hold down the reset button for more than 10 seconds to reset its default settings back to factory default.

If the reset doesnt work turn off router then on again first, but if the reset doesnt work, the router may need to be replaced.

Problem in setup wireless router, need default security key/phrase

If there reset the router to the factory settings:
Default Username: admin (lowercase)
Default Password: none (none, leave blank)

If this doesn't work, try pressing the reset button for 10 seconds with it powered ON. Then try it off. I can't remember which one will work.

After this is complete, username: admin and password: (nothing, blank, nada) will work.

Good Luck!
