Question about Logitech DRIVING FORCE FEEDBACK STEERING WHEEL W/PEDALS USB FOR PS2 (VGITECHWHEELPEDALSUSBPS2)

Open Question

Just over 2 Years old DRIVING FORCE PRO

Steering wheel won't calibrate(turn left and right) when starting a game(For example Gt4). DFP can be found on my computer...but that's all..Can't calibrate, press buttons..well actually can't do anything at all. Pedals doesn't work either . All I get is those two blinking lights. I checked adapter and that works. All wires are ok too(well at least my electric-meter gave some values so they are more or less ok I think).
Now I'm out of ideas.
DFB was out of use for few months...thats all it takes to get it xxxxx I guess...

I have the same problem. Worked fine until a month ago. Mine's three years old. Called logitech today, and couldn't recalibrate after doing all they told me to. Warranty was only for two years. They said I could get a new one for half the cost of new.

I know this sounds stupid, but mine did the same thing until I remembered that it also has a power supply that has to be plugged into an outlet. I had simply connected the USB cable and got the green light on the top left hand side but it wouldn't respond otherwise. Sorry if you already have this checked but it solved the problem for me.

SOURCE: logitech Driving Force GT wheel won't work at all

Ive had this problem yesterday. Confirmed.
Call them to have words. Have respect and they refund you full.
Towards the G25.
I did that. Cause if I broke 1 DFGT then I will break more.
I think that the G25 withstands even drifters technique.

SOURCE: I have a LOgitech Formula Vibration Feedback

make sure you have the latest service pack if vista can see the controller in the control panel>gamecontrollers>properties and it tests fine then it is not the wheel. it just the game
turn off your antivirus temporarily and start the game again.if it still does not work in the games you mentioned look for patches on the games web sights.

How to connect logitech g27 paddles to ps3

Plug the device into your console.
In a racing game, Go to options, Logitech Racing Wheels, Steering Settings. Steering type=simulation. Power-Assisted Steering=Off. Force Feedback is up to you (I use 8).

Then, exit Steering Settings and scroll right. The G25 is not listed in the options menu. Use the DFP to map the controls. Paddle shifters are L1 and R1. Buttons on wheel are L2 and R2. D-pad is same as DS3, as are the four black buttons above it. The four red buttons are (from left to right), L3, Select, Start, R3. The forward/back on the sequential shifter can also be mapped if you choose to do so. Hope this helps.

Hi...I just bought the Logitech Driving Force GT steering wheel and pedals...the pedals work fine, the buttons ON the steering wheel work fine...but the actual steering part DOES NOT work..so I can...

-Check if the connections are plugged in properly -Does the wheel calibrate (turn left and right and then centres) when you turn on the wheel. -Doe the game support the wheel? - Plug the DFGT into the USB port 1 of the console AFTER you turn on the console. So turn on the console and then plug in the DFGT into the USB port 1 and turn it on.
ALSO if you are using the DFGT for pc, make sure you install the "Logitech Gaming Software" from the logitech website =

Steering backwards

Maybe it got calibrated backwards, so know the wheel guesses that right is left and left is right... you might need to look at the CONTROL PANEL / GAME CONTROLLERS to find a way to calibrate it right...

Driving force pro steering wheel

A solution from Youtube comments:

"if u realy want this wheel to work u need to open it up, and there is a rail u can move foward to lock the wheel into 180, then fire up your pc ps3 or game and let it calibrate. and it will stay in 180 (left led on)then after it has done that push the rail backwards for 900 (both leds on). and its all good, the rail is white plastic and is under the big metal bar. u cant miss it.
ive cut a hole in mine at the top so i can move the rail whenever :)"
