Hi there

You could if you can get your hands on the LCD's.

BUT if you have never done this before , don't try it at all. It is not as simple as all the other parts in the unit to replace !

Epson 822+ Projector still dim after replacing bulb

I'm not familiar with your specific model, but are the units LCD or DLP? What I've seen in LCD projectors used in schools, museums, etc. that are left-on for several hours per-day, is that the UV filters in the optical blocks will fail. They usually change to an amber-brown color and block most of the light. It's the equivalent to putting sunglasses on. Do the units also exhibit a greenish-yellow tint instead of proper color?

My projector has started projecting with a very dim image - very difficult to see even with room lights dimmed. It has been working weel with a great image until now - approx 1.5 years old used an average...

I've got the same problem. Just replaced the bulb but the image is no brighter. Our unit is two years old and operates about 6 hours a day. It is dimmer and more out of focus when run from a Windows computer.

I have an PLVZ700 that is showing a faint yellow circle in the middle of the image

The Blue LCD has burnt due to either an old lamp or poor ventilation/blocked filters.
There is no cure for this except a replacement blue LCD panel is required. It is a specialized job and cannot be attempted by some one without the tools and experience.
Cleaning the filters may stop anymore deteriation.

I replaced the lamp on a Panasonic PT-LC80U thinking this will solve the yellow appereance, but it did work, it seems that there are not blues in the image. What Can I Do to solve the problem?

here are some probable causes..
This appears to be an older model (over 5 years old) and LCD projectors turn yellow with age. It's just what they do
However, if you are projecting a computer signal or a component signal, a short in the blue signal of the cable can cast yellow hues over your image. The hue will cover the entire image as if you are viewing the image "through rose (or in this case, lemon) colored glasses" so to speak. That's an easy fix.

Harder fixes: the blue LCD panel is weaking and/or gone bad.

If you have a round yellowish spot in the middle of your screen, the diffuser has been overheated and is "burnt".

Ghost image in different color from main image - text appears "doubled"

Use the remote to access the menu and you'll be able to POSITION the colors horizontally and vertically .
You should be able to align with the other colors to make it sync'd.

Dell 2400 MP DPL Projector projects a yellow tinted image.

Clean any external dust filters or air openings in the unit.If you don't want to remove the filters, you can simply use a vacuum cleaner hose to suction away the dust from the filter element--same effect anyway. The unit probably does indeed need a thorough cleaning.
The yellow effect is most probably a burned BLUE polarizer filter located behind the blue LCD panel. (Color key--Purple onscreen=green lcd, baby blue onscreen=red lcd, and yellow onscreen=blue lcd). That's how you can tell which lcd has dust on it! Usually, the green lcd has the most free area around it and collects the most visible dust. (large purple specs) The polarizer filters can get burned due to excessive heat (not keeping proper ventilation). Of course, it might be the blue LCD panel which is failing prematurely due to heat build-up over time. The polarizer filter isn't that expensive if it can be replaced, however, the actual lcd panel IS.---Rick

Projection has yellow tint

From your description, it sounds like a problem with the blue color. Green LCD=purple onscreen, Red=cyan(baby blue) onscreen, Blue LCD=yellow onscreen. It could be a lot of dust on the blue lcd panel, or worse, might be a burned polarizer filter behind the lcd panel due to excessive heat. If you can focus on the yellow and its tons of yellow specs, its dust. A burned filter however, must be replaced. A technician trained in projectors will have to do it. The filter material is glued to a thin glass panel and is replaced as a single filter. It's a very involved repair.

Blue on one side

It isn't the LCD panels, it is the Polarizers that degrade with heat. You can replace them yourself.
