Error code 0E on LG WM1290 FHB ?

The error code 0E stands for obstruction error, meaning that the drain line is obstructed. This is why the spin fails as all the water is not being drained. Check the drain hose for kinks and clean the drain filter. If they are not the problem, there could still be an obstruction in the drain hose in or about the drain pump.

I have a LG WM2487HWM front load steaming washer. It has had the regular odor/mildew/mold problem from almost the first month. Recently the machine has struggled with draining all the water. Now it leaves...

Leave the door open for 24 hrs after wash for Odor problem. You need to clean the rubber gasket around the door with 1:4 Bleach/Water (It's Fun!...Not!) First though. Not draining? You need a New Drain Pump! Go to YouTube and place LG Washer not draining. They have 20 videos on how to repair...Very Easy!

Code 0E not draining the water

Hello Faye, thank you for allowing me to assist you!

I understand that the washer will not drain; however is it making a humming noise? If so, either the drain or pump is clogged and needs cleaning. Let's try setting the washer to spin cycle on. Will water pump out? If it does not, then the unit could possibly be experiencing a communication error with the control board, faulty pump, timer or door lock assembly. If I was in your position, I would personally contact a professional for an accurate diagnosis and to assist with the repairs. You can often locate a qualified provider by visiting the manufacturer website.

Intermittant 0E error

I believe the OE error is generated if it takes too long for the washing machine to drain. If the drain is blocked or the pump is is not functioning well, the error will show up intermittently. I believe we experienced a similar error a couple of years back. After verifying the drain was clear, I replaced the drain motor, I believe the washing machine was about 5 years old at that time.

Error 0E

It sounds like your water inlet valve is stuck open. You have two on this machine, a hot water and a cold water assembly. You should be able to tell which was stuck from the temperature of the water spilling out.

It is an easy fix. To replace it you take off the top by removing the screws at the rear and pulling back on the top. Unhook the hose to the drain pump and drain the water out of your machine. The door lock on this model is likely set so that you cannot open the door if water is in the machine (they don't want you to flood yourself, but its a little too late for you) You can now access and remove and replace the faulty valve.

Put things back together, but leave the top off and see if the machine will start up and the door will open. If your door is still locked you should be able to reach down and find a pull tab around the door lock assembly. Pull gently on this and it should release the door.

After up get it back together and drained of water hopefully the error message will clear itself and you will be back in business.

I have an lg wd12650tp and it has stopped full of water with the code OE showing. I've tried emptying the filter at the front but it still wont drain? Any suggestions? btw apparently the code means...

Hi.

Error 0E is drain error.

Access the drain pump, located behind the service door at the base of the machine, in the front side, right below the washer door.

Disconnect power before starting the procedure.

Open the door and undo the pump attachment. Have a container ready to collect a good amount of water.

If that does not fix the problem, then there may be a fault. Further blockage, faulty pressure switch and faulty drain pump are the faults that can trigger error code 0E.

You can find parts and diagrams for most models using the link below:

Code 0E

That is actually a "DE" code, which stands for Drain Error. Open the access door at the bottom left on front of the machine. Use the small hose there to drain the last of the water out of the machine. Open the bigger knob in there and pull out the attached filter and clean out the filter. If there was nothing in the filter, replace the pump motor.

Hi my washing mashine wont spin, and code 0E comes up on sreen and start button starts flashing PLEASE HELP THANKS

That is actually DE. (Drain Error) Open the small access door at the bottom left corner of the front panel. Use the small hose to drain the remaining water out of machine. Unscrew the big knob and pull it out to clean out filter. (If filter was clear, replace pump motor.)
