Im assumig that youve already had the machine tipped back and bottom cover removed, as you look at the pump there should be metal clamps securing it to the drain pump motor, you can release the clamps and the pump will release from the motor giving youbetter acess to the clamps..
BE WARNED if there water in the machine its comin out when you undo the clamp!!!! and if you need to order a new pump assy theyve since changed design and you must replace the drain pump/motor alltogether, not hard, but old pump no longer available

How do I replace drain hose

Do you mean the hose that goes to your standpipe, or the hose that goes from the drain pump to the plastic box(26) behind the washer?

In any case, to remove the hose (8) going from the back of your washer to the stand pipe, grab a pair of pliers and squeeze the wire fingers sticking out of the clamp (28) holding the drain hose to the plastic box on the rear of your washer. That relieves the tension of the clamp and, while still squeezing the wire fingers, slide the clamp up the drain hose a couple of inches. Then, you can pull the drain hose loose from the plastic piece.

Then, using your pliers again, completely remove the clamp from the old drain hose and put it on your new drain hose, about 3 inches back.
Then, stick your new drain hose onto the plastic piece and use your pliers to get the clamp back down to secure the drain hose to the plastic piece.

You should be able to figure it all out with no problem.

My washer is leaking water out of the dispenser area . The hose for the water underneath the dispenser seems to be clogged how do i fix this?

Hi, follow the instruction below to clear the clooged hose.....
  • Pull the washer 2 to 3 feet away from the wall so you have enough room to access the drain pipe.
  • Locate the drain discharge hose where it comes out from the back of the washing machine. Typically it will be a 1 1/2-inch hose and leads to the drain in the floor, wall or laundry tub.
  • Detach the discharge hose from the drain. The hose may be secured by a squeeze clamp or screw clamp or it may just be inserted directly with no clamp. Use pliers for the squeeze clamp, screwdriver for a screw clamp or pull the hose straight up, depending on how it is secured.
  • Insert the pipe snake into the open drain until you feel the clog release. Typically this will be very close to the top rather than several feet down.
  • Check the drain hose section that is attached to the washer. If there is another clogged area, you will be able to see it; snag it with the wire and pull it out.
  • Replace the drain discharge hose into the drain and check all connections to ensure there will be no water escaping.
  • Move the washer back into place. It will now drain properly.

I have an E 21 code.

Hi, Check for a trap in the hose that comes from the tub to the drain pump and frigidaire says it must be reinstalled. Try to remove the drain hose from the stand pipe and vacuum the water out of the washer from the drain hose but because of the pillow this might not work in your case. Now remove the two screws on the front lower panel and pull the panel. In side you will see the drain pump if you did not have a shop vac go to the auto parts store and buy a pair of radiator hose clamps and clamp the hose line as close to the washer as possible( put down some towels as water always stays there). Then pull the tub to pump hose by depressing the squeeze clamp(now while your at the auto parts id get a screw clamp to replace the spring clamp it makes putting the hose back on a lot easier)pull the hose off. Then pull the pump to drain hose off .Remove the two 5/16 in screws securing the pump to the washer base.Unplug the connector and remove the pump inspect the pump for foreign objects, broken or stripped impeller blades . If the impeller are stripped you will have to replace the pump.
Thank you!

Hoover nextra washing machin3e , not draining

Yes Disconnect drain hose from the rear of washer. You will need to use special pliers that have notches in them to grab the hose clamp or you might need a Screw Driver if the hose clamp is a regular hose clamp. Remove clamp and flush washer hose with a high pressure hose or garden hose. Inspect drain where you took the hose off for any blockage. You might have to do this two or three times.Yet most of the time one time is good enougg. Good Luck!

Replace drain hose

The drain hose comes with a clamp that is used to clamp the hose around the plastic piece on the bottom of the washer. Some washers this connection is inside the washer, but it is still the same type of connection.

Water not draining out of washer. Cloths soaked even after spin cycle.

ok you have an obstruction in your pump if you have a shop vacuum take the drain hose out of the drain and use the vac to pull the water out through the drain hose if not then go to auto parts store and get a radiator hose clamp pull the bottom panel off the washer and inside you will see a small motor with two hoses clamp the hose going up to the tub of the washer then if you had to clamp it put a towel in front and unscrew the front of the pump it will be plastic round and look like it has a square bar across it clean the filter look in the pump to make sure nothing is broken or jamming the impeller blades if the blades are broken then replace the pump if not then reassemble if you clamped it then remove clamp and tell everyone to check their pockets /chrissy9700 this doesn't apply to you
