I wondered if something like that was happening...

I assume your model is a Stylus Photo 780 (even though the problem category was listed under Epson R1800).

A service manual for your printer is available for purchase here.

Unfortunately I do not have access to the manual myself, so I can't directly show you the spring connection points. The manual cost isjust $9.99, and I am confident it will show you exactly what you need.

I have a type epson 7800 and now appears error 00010020. what should I do? Thank you

That means the printer maintenance has not been run for a while so the system goes into this error to prevent further damage. So you need to do a reset on the printer. Just do a google search or go the Epsom site under support and download the manual or google on how to reset the Epsom with ur model

"wrong cartridge" message appears, new

It could be due to "waste tank full" alarm; you may need to reset the waste tank counter.
I found a reset sequence for a MP730 printer in this website that works for F30 and F50 as well. Try:
Resetting the Waste Ink Volume Counter

1) Enter SERVICE MODE.---
By pressing Menu-Copy-#

2) Select TEST MODE.
3) Select [8] PRINTER TEST in TEST MODE.
4) Select 3. [EEPROM CLEAR].
5) Select 0. [INK COUNT].
6) Press the [OK] key.
7) Press the [Stop/Reset] key (returning to the state of 3)), and then press the [ON/OFF] key.

Skip step (6) since there is no [OK] key on F30 or F50 printers.

Two springs loose in Epsom stylus 780 printer

If the issue persists, it appears as though the hardware itself is malfunctioning and will require service. You can take the unit to an Epson Customer Care Center for repair, as your product is no longer within its one-year warranty period (from the original date of purchase). These service centers have their own rates and policies. If you can reply with the zip, I can give details abt the nearest repair place. =)
