How do I stop screen flickering

If this occurs within a specific application, it probably has to do with the fact that the application wasn't programmed for double buffering. If your screen is constantly flickering no matter what, it could be bad video drivers. Try updating them. If that fails, it's probably either bad hardware. Try a different video card. If it still persists, it's a bad monitor.

A blankscreen always a blank screen....when i turn my notebook on, it wont show anything...just a blank screen

Hi there,

Blank screen with a Blinking Cursor or just the Blank screen?
Which is your Operating system?
What Program Did You Install That You Weren't Supposed To?

That information might help us.
One note: I recently ran into something similar to your issue regarding the "Windows Logon".. There are a number of malware programs which will rename the critical "winlogon.exe" file to something else like "winlogon2.exe".. The malware then replaces the renamed file with a trojan also named "winlogon.exe". So the "bad" winlogon.exe is working as a trojan while still allowing the "good/real" winlogon.exe to sit beside it.. (The "good/real" file has an icon which looks like a blue window with a yellow half-moon inside so it's easy to identify.)

In my case, I used the XP Recovery Console to scan through the files in C:\Windows\System32 and find both the bad and the good versions of the file.. I deleted the bad file from the Recovery Console and renamed the good file back to its original/correct "winlogon.exe".. Rebooting the computer allowed it to load Windows so I could run antispyware scans and finish cleaning up the computer.

It might be worth checking..

Post back if it is not working we will be happy to help you.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!!!!

Why does my laptop blue screen then restarts?

There could be multiple reasons - most of the time when a laptop blue screens it is a problem with memory. Either you don't have enough or one of the modules has gone bad.

Good day sir/maam, there are several reasons why XP do that,
  1. Bad memory, replace your memory with a good one.
  2. Bad XP installation. you may need to setup your XP again.
  3. Watch your DVD drive, DVD disk installer.
  4. Hard DIsk bad sector. make sure you format the Hard disk as you reinstall the OS.
  5. A bad power supply. If your XP keeps on resetting and turning off.
Make sure you check them one by one. hope this helps.

Blue screen on dell svc tag:GSKTL1S.Ox000000ED,0x8734D9EO,0xC0000006 how to fix this error?

Fine..You have reached the Blue Screen of Death (BSoD)..common in Windows Operating Systems. Generally this must be a hardware problem. If parts liek RAM or bad sectors in Harddisk, such BSoD comes, indicating the crash of the OS. Try repairing XP using the cd. If not, go for a format so that the bad sectors in the Hard disk is repaired.

Thank you!

DISPLAY QUALITY

be sure to adjust your screen resolution to what is recommended. Each flat screen works best with its recommended resolution. If not properly set, some pixels are not coinciding with the matrix of the screen, resulting in bad render of texts and images.

Also try to restore default parameters of the browser.
