My freezer had ice in the bottom, and the refrigerator was not cool. found instruction online that said the freeer drain was clogged, and to pour water/bleach through the drain. i think it unclogged the drain, but the water bleach mix went from the freezer into the area withe the light bulb and controls, and something shorted out or blew a fuse, and now the refrigerator does nothing, like it's not even plugged in

Water collecting in the bottom of the freezer is usually caused form a condensate drain blockage. Remove the back panel and there should be no ice around the drain. if there is pour hot water in and around the drain to clear it and flush it out. This should get things fixed.
I'm guessing the drain from the freezer defrost pan (below the freezer coil) is clogged and overflowing into the bottom of the box. You'll have to turn off an defrost the freezer, then remove the sheet metal on the back to expose the coil. Try pouring some water into the drain pan and if it backs up, use a fine wire like a sewer snake to clean it out.
The drain is clogged. When the drain clogs it can also clogs the airflow vents. Remove the back wall of the freezer to access the drain. Remove all the ice blocking the drain and the vents. Then use a trukey baser to force hot water down the drain until water flows freely. Then mix water with baken soda and pour it down the drain. http://www.appliance-repair-it.com/refrigerator-leaking.html
Hello, The defrost drain is blocked..This is where the water goes to in the bottom of your freezer when it goes through the defrost (removal of ice from the freezer coil) cycle.Seems like it is blocked with water or ice. Unplug the refrigerator, empty out the freezer compartment pull off the back panel or the bottom panel (in the freezer compartment) Look for that defrost drain hole.. pour small amounts of HOT tap water onto it and then sopping/absorbing it away with a sponge or dishcloth. Repeat this until I get the water to go down the drain tube.. hope this help......
did you try to remove the 2 ***** in freezer floor???. if not remove the floor and check for ice build up underthere, if so:
you have a clogged defrost drain tube. removing back panel of freezer will give you acess to drain trough, melt away the ice with a hair dryer, youll find a drain hole under there somwhere, pouring boiling water down the drain will clear it pretty quickly( i use a steam machine purchased from the infomercials works awesome, after you clear it and all water drain down tube wrap a piece of solid copper wirearound the heater( black calrod heater right above the drain trough) and stick it in the whole maybe an inch or so. now everythime the heater comes on to defrost it will prevent the hole from freezing over
Switch off the power First keep all the items out Open the door and remove all the fixers let the whole body will be get dry check the freezer is there any gap between the door

Angels, sounds like your defrost drain is frozen over. When the refrigerator is going into defrost it's draining through the front instead of the drain pan. You can remove the shelves and peel off the back cover and clear the drain by pouring hot water on the frozen drain hole. If you have a baster of some sort you could try to squirt the hot water through the venting on the bottom of the panel. Another way to to point a hair dryer on the drain hole. The best method is to remove the shelves and panel and make sure the drain is clear. Catriver..post back.
