2005 Zooper Boogie Front Seat Bar Broken

The front bar broke on the stroller when I tried to open the bar. Is there a replacement part that I can purchase and if so, how much is it?

I seem to have a similar problem with our 2005 Zooper Jazz. I took the front wheel apart and found that the balls in one of the three bearings where full of rust. I've have contacted Zooper, but am not getting my hopes up, as suggested. The replacement balls should be readily available locally, but I need to figure out the exact sizing first. Putting the front wheel back together again may be a challenge.

SOURCE: I purchased a used older Zooper Buddy stroller. Sun cover???

Hi there,
Yes, the Buddy definitely came with both a rain cover and a sun shield. The sun shield folded up into a zippered black pouch. To attach it to the stroller, you use the zipper to zip the shield around the inner rim of the canopy.

Hope this helps!

Zooper Boogie User's Manual

There's a safety lock located on the right side of the frame, about 6-8" down from the handle bar. There are also 2 sliding locks, one located on either side of the stroller, on the underside of the frame. One is located just below the safety lock. First pull up on the safety lock, and while keeping the safety lock open, simultaneously slide the other 2 levers up toward you. The stroller will unlock/open and you will be able to fold it.

Closing it

You need to push the red buttons underneath the seat.  This releases the seat's connection on the back bar.  Next sort of wiggle the seat until you can push it forward and then separate the seat from the frame. Then to collapse the frame, look for the piece half way down the frame that looks like it can slide. Slide the pieces up (on both sides of the frame) until you can fold the frame in half.  It is still pretty bulky.  I dont think the seat part collapses any further.
Hope it helps.

Try Brakleen. It's a brake cleaner but it cleans fabrics really good. Try it on a small area first but I've used it on many things and haven't had a problem yet.

Making my zooper available to 2 children with an attachment

First of all, a heartfelt congratulations! Second, it's definitely challenging having children so close together.

The Zooper Boogie is a good stroller and it's engineered in a VERY specific way to provide baby safety and comfort. It does this by providing a slightly lower center of gravity focused on the rotating single front wheel. This makes it more maneuverable for parents and keeps baby at the center of the swivel. Attaching a second compartment on the front or back of this particular carriage would undermine the engineered balance, tremendously. At least one occupant would suffer from an extended swing when maneuvering that could be more than just uncomfortable, especially if it was extended forward over the front wheel. Some stroller companies might be willing to do this, Zooper doesn't.

The best alternative that they offer is the Tango which is engineered for two. I know that you mentioned that you wouldn't purchase a double stroller but modifying a single might be uncomfortable and possibly dangerous for your little ones. I would recommend against it.

Once again, congratulations on your blessings!
