Question about Computers & Internet
Problem with incresing RAM
foxconn motherboard. 945GZ7MC-RS2H
3.06 GHz Pentium 4 Processor.
Currently running 2x 512mb DDR2 SDRAM 33MHz
I want to increase to,
2 x 2GB DDR2 677MHz.
The board will run ok with 1x 2GB installed but not with both.
I have checked that both board slots & both lots of memmory are working when installed seperately, all seems ok.
can you give me any idea what the problem is ?
You need paired memory - and if you are using two pairs, they must be the same speed (there is a big difference between 33Mhz and 677Mhz)

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
