You need paired memory - and if you are using two pairs, they must be the same speed (there is a big difference between 33Mhz and 677Mhz)

Problems with new ram

This = NO

The Foxconn P4M800P7MB-RS2H motherboard supports ram memory that is either 400MegaHertz, or 533MHz.

You have installed 667MHz ram memory.

http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/3274794/-/Product.html

You also need to watch the Front Side Bus (FSB) of the processor you are using.

Ram memory typically operates at HALF of the FSB of the Processor.

Processor FSB support is 800MHz maximum.
Half of that is 400MHz.
You CAN use 533MHz ram memory, however.

(This is DDR2 Sdram ram memory.
PC2-3200 is DDR2 at 400MHz.
PC2-4200 is DDR2 at 533MHz. (Also known as PC2-4300. Depends on the ram memory manufacturer.

PC2-3200 actually operates at 200MHz. { Max} It is 'Dual Pumped'
PC2-4200 actually operates at 266MHz )

What to do?
Hopefully you saved the carton/s the ram memory came in.
Ship them back, get the ram memory you need.

ALSO;

What is the FSB of the Processor you have installed?
Don't know?
Post back in a Comment as to the model name, and model number.

(Example; Intel Pentium D model 805,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_Pentium_D_microprocessors#.22Smithfield.22_.2890_nm.29

FSB support is 533MHz
No, you cannot use 533MHz ram memory. { PC2-4200 }
PC2-3200 is the max.

Pentium D model 820 for example, you can )

Does Intel Pentium 4, 2 GHz Processor support 2GB DDR1 RAM..?

Type of RAM supported has nothing to do with the processor make & type in most cases. It is more important to verify that the motherboard supports this kind of RAM.
In general, most motherboards supporting the Intel Pentium 4 2.0 GHz processor support also DDR1 RAM.

My motherboard turns on the fan gives me video but not finish booting or only produces long beeps, remove the hard drive and peripherals, change the font and memories and as usual, which may be? Thanks a...

There is ram problem.mostly computers stuck only when ram have problem. If hdd have problem then computer gave error of "insert bootable media or disk".if processor have problem then your computer turn of after beep or in mostly cases computer is not power up.so you need to first check ram.

open body of cpu and unclip the rams

then clean the chip with normal cloth.

then set back it to there place and confirm the clips are correctly closed.

then turn on your system.if agin same problem is comming then your ram is cashed change it to new one.

I have intel pentium 4 x86 2.26 ghz processor installed in my system and i am currently running 256 mb of RAM.i want to upgrade my RAM size to 1gb but when i consulted the person from where i bought my pc...

The processor has nothing to do with it. It has to do with the motherboard and whether it supports it or not. If there are 4 slots it should support at least 2gb, possibly 4gb. You have to find out what board you have in order to tell how much ram it supports.

LETS SAY YOUR USING VISTA 32BIT, SHARE VEDIO UP TO 860MB, MOST SYSTEMS WILL ALLOW 3-4 GB, BUT SOME MANIFACTURE SYSTEMS MAY ONLY ALLOW 1 GB RAM, THE BOARD MANIFACTURE MAY SUPPORT 4GB BUT THE MANIFACTURE MAY ONLY ALLOW 1-4 GB OF RAM.
