Question about Canon imageRUNNER 5000 Copier
After going into service mode and clearing out all of the Department IDs, the screen to enter a department ID and password is still popping up (and there aren't any ID numbers). But now we are unable to hit the Additional Functions button (*) to get back into service mode, or to even just add new Department IDs, which is what we really want to do. Does anyone have any suggestions beyond turning on/off the machine?
I am having the same problem on the IR5000. When I power on the unit the Department ID Screen shows up. It does not allow me to use the additional function button when in this mode.
Any ideas on how to clear this out altogether?
